About Palisade Construction

Palisade Construction, founded by Ian Waight in 2001, has been committed to building high-quality, custom homes and renovation projects in the Lake Tahoe area since 2005.

As General Contractor and owner of Palisade Construction, Ian uses his experience working in the dream home market of Telluride, Colorado to design and build using mountain home styles and green building techniques.� His experience working as lead carpenter/foreman on several high-end lake front projects in the Tahoe area have enabled him to hone his high-quality craftsmanship and earn a loyal clientele.

As Treasurer and Board Member of the Sierra Green Building Association, Ian has been keeping pace with the rapidly growing green building industry and is able to provide insight and options to help reduce the impact of building on the natural environment.

The Palisade Construction team is composed of a friendly group of hard-working and highly skilled craftsmen who strive for both beauty and quality in their work.

Ian is a California native who entered the construction industry in 1994. He is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Ecology in 1997.� He received his general contracting license in 2001.
